The easiest and most obvious choice is the free public transport which is included in your ticket, which is in close proximity to the hotel. All you need to do is jump on the 661 bus operating from Adelaide Terrace after Bennet street (bus stop number 10073) which takes approximately 8 minutes.
You can also walk to Optus Stadium from Crowne Plaza, a leisurely 30 minute walk. Just ask our friendly staff at reception for directions.
Food and alcohol can be purchased from Optus Stadium as they are a fully licensed venue.
They do allow you to bring your own food and sealed plastic bottles. Unfortunately you are unable to bring your own alcohol or beverages in glass bottles.
While Crowne Plaza does not provide transport to Optus Stadium, there are many different methods of getting there, as mentioned above. If none of these satisfy, we are happy to organise a taxi for you.
We recommend lathering up in SPF 50 sunscreen as at Optus Stadium, there is a lot of sun exposure. If you are attending a game in the evening, don’t forget to bring a jumper as it can get quite chilly. All bags are inspected upon arrival, so try to avoid bringing large bags as this will delay your entry.
