Sink your snappers into Gusti’s new kids’ menu
Delicious burgers, tempura chicken nuggets, battered fish and more delicious morsels are on the little people menu at Gusti. Bring the kids along and upgrade their meal to include an ice cream and soft drink whilst mum and dad sip on a glass of something stronger.
Pat the cuddly animals
The Spring Farm Fair is running between 26th-30th of September at Claremont Showgrounds. The kids will be able to interact with cuddly farm animals and learn more about agriculture and farming in WA. Don’t forget to check out the rides and take home a showbag!
Follow the maze to find the life-like dinosaurs
At Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square, the School’s Out fest will be running from the 26th of September to the 11th of October. With life like dinosaurs, a maze challenge, unlimited carnival rides, show bags and mini sideshow alley, your kids be entertained for hours.
Enjoy the multisensory exhibition about the world at Scitech
The newest installation at Scitech, Earth matters: rethink the future is worth a visit! A full immersive, interacting and engaging exhibit that takes you on an inspirational journey to understanding the changes occurring in the world and how we can rethink the future.
Hop on the carnival rides
Hillary’s boat harbour is where the fun is at, with 14 different carnival rides included in your $15 ticket. With showbags, face paint and food trucks available, it really is a mini royal show. All this fun is happening between the 26th of September and the 4th of October, so make sure you don’t miss out!
Immerse yourself in the contemporary arts
From the 28th September to the 4th of October the AWESOME festival is back and will be showcasing a remarkable array of theatre, dance, early childhood activities, music, visual arts and hands on activities. The festival is suitable for children aged 0-12.
Complete the superhero secret mission
Get your kids dressed up as their favourite superhero and attend Fremantle’s superhero secret mission trail. Between 5-9th of October there will be a giant inflatable obstacle trail, where your kids can bounce, jump, slip and slide their way around, there will be two inflatables at each location, to carter to children between 2-6 and 7-16.
Discover Queen’s Gardens
This is an un-discovered gem that the kids will love running around, taking in the greenery and getting their dose of Vitamin D. The gardens were officially opened way back in 1899, and it’s beautiful lily-filled lakes, perfectly manicured lawns and lush trees and shrubbery make it the perfect spot for a peaceful pit stop.
Keep an eye out for the Peter Pan statue too – it’s a replica of the same statue in London’s famed Kensington Gardens.
Catch a flick at Girls School Cinema
This iconic venue is showing every night of the week until the end of October. Indulge in foodie fun featuring Mack Daddy’s New York Slice as well as a candy-bar for the kids and a bar-bar for some parental therapy. Their program features Shrek + Shrek 2, Pixar double-ups with Toy Story and Finding Nemo and the absolute classic, The Sound of Music. Get your tickets here
Walk it off
